Les Rencontres du Havre invites you to reflect on beautiful series, this year centered around the place they reserve for music, whether it supports the story or whether it is filmed.

To do this, young people will come to defend their favorite series music in an eloquence contest, teams (producers, screenwriters, directors, musicians, actors, composers, etc.) will accompany the screening of episodes of their series, “Le monde tomorrow”, “Toutouyoutou”, “Reusss”, as well as a British work, “Somewhere Boy”. Researchers will offer us to think about the music of “Treme” or “Bureau of legends”. And we will also turn to the past with a series-concert around silent episodes of Louis Feuillade’s “Vampires” accompanied on the piano. And like every year, a Work in progress, and a round table on a professional theme.

To top it off, a concert with the man who inspired one of the most beautiful characters of the “World of Tomorrow”, Dee Nasty on the decks.

Organized by the association Havre de Cinéma, these days for all take place in the Oscar Niemeyer library, at the Studio cinema, at the Arthur Honegger Conservatory and at the Colombe Niemeyer.

The entire program is free entry and open to all.
