Game news Marvel: this superhero would be entitled to his own game by Ubisoft, first sharp leaks
Superheroes have always been popular in the video game industry and we must admit that with the MCU, the ambitions and excitement are even greater. Today, a leak seems to reveal the existence of a project, at Ubisoft, dedicated to… Blade.
Half man, half vampire, 100% stylish
Blade is clearly not the best known of Marvel superheroes and yet he is undoubtedly one of the characters with the most seductive potential. Potential exploited a little in the cinema with three films all the same, some scenes of which prove to be cult thanks to a devilishly mastered staging and the charisma of Wesley Snipes in the skin of the protagonist.
While a new movie is planned for next year within the MCU (with Mahershala Ali in the title role), it seems that a video game dedicated to the character is in preparation in the corridors of Ubisoft. In any case, the first photos seem to have sold the wick.
Leak: It appears an actor has revealed Ubisoft is developing a Blade game. The actor shared these set photos of a Ubisoft badge, himself holding a sword prop, clapperboard with the names “Marvel” and the director of the upcoming Blade movie, and gaming hashtags. #Blade pic.twitter.com/wvRNlHG8lP

A Blade video game at Ubisoft?
We therefore owe the leak of the day to Alex Martin, an actor who shared several filming photos on his Instagram account: the problem is that his pictures say too much. In the image, he and a colleague are first armed with a katana – Blade’s signature weapon – and so we learn that motion capture sessions are currently taking place at Ubisoft, produced by Marvel and piloted by Bassam Tariq. The latter is none other than the director of the reboot, which will be released in theaters on November 3, 2023.
A Blade video game is obviously something that we would like to see materialize, as the potential is obvious and adapted to the Tenth Art. We remind you that the vampire hunter will also be in the cast of Marvel’s Midnight Suns, an action-strategic software developed by Firaxis Games.
Finally, let’s also highlight some fresh news for the next film: it will be the costume designer Ruth E. Carter who will take care of the design of Blade, the same one who worked on Black Panther (which also earned him an Oscar). Fingers crossed not to be disappointed.

Ubisoft has just taken the floor on social networks, in order to deny the noise in the hallway: “Sorry to cut the rumors short, we are not making a Blade game but we can’t wait to see what our friends at Marvel have in store for us. next year’s movie!”
