Chicago Fire has been on the air for 11 years now and continues to attract new fans each season. This drama television series was created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas for NBC and premiered in October 2012. Throughout its episodes, it explores the personal lives of firefighters and paramedics at Chicago Fire Department Station 51, while allowing the public to experience first-hand their daily life-saving work. Chicago Fire launched the Chicago franchise, also known as One Chicago, which focuses on the lives of Chicago public service employees. The first was Billy Kennedy in Neighbours, an Australian soap opera he starred in from 1994 to 2000, reprising his role for a special and the show’s finale in 2022. His second major role was as Robert Chase in the series House , starring Hugh Laurie. Spencer was one of the few actors to star in the series from its pilot through its finale.
