On October 6, one of the film phenomena of the year arrives in Italian cinemas, the surreal science fiction comedy (which is also an intense sentimental and family drama) “Everything Everywhere All At OnceDirected by videomaker duo Daniels, the film tells the story of a laundry owner (Michelle Yeoh) pushed in spite of herself to save the world and with it the parallel universes where she, her daughter and her husband live alternative existences that the woman will suddenly experience.

An ambitious operation, which also tries to pull the philosophical strings on the concept of double and parallel lives and to reflect on the crossroads and the choices that each of us has taken without being able to discover what would have happened if he had taken a different path. Cinema has always been fascinated by these hypothetical paintings: below, a selection of titles that have imagined stories of sci-fi multiverses.
