“My favorite film”, “this purge”… This film is a hit on Netflix but nevertheless divides internet users

We told you about it this week: the film Meet Joe Black had been set on fire when released in the late 1990s. Very surprising for a film carried by Antony Hopkins (Thesilenceofthelambs) and Brad Pitt (fight club), two sacred monsters of cinema. Harder still, this remake of the feature film Three days with the living (1934) by Mitchell Leisen, was even awarded a Razzie Award, the worst award in American cinema. A heavy liability which did not however prevent the giant Netflix from giving it a second chance, by adding it to its catalog on Friday September 16. More than twenty years after its release, how is the film received today by viewers? On Twitter in any case, the opinions are mixed.
