Karen Lynch’s Rogue review

Rogue by Karen Lynch is the third volume of Queen Edizioni’s Relentless series. Sara is impulsive, indomitable and at the same time tired of having to submit to the decisions of the Mohiris who want to protect her at all costs and who do not get anything done. In fact, her searches for her mother and the Master are inconclusive and the attacks of the vampires increase day by day, for this reason, yet another head shot of hers: the escape to look for the answers alone.

Alone alone is not her closest friends have already figured out what’s going on in her head and all together, in a very cunning and dangerous way, they manage to get away from the shelter and begin a real hunting trip. Nikolas’ presence is always a problem, every time they get close to the answers they have to hide or flee far away so they don’t have to retrace their steps. Sara and her little gang manage to unleash panic among all the creatures that live among humans.

She, who has always lived her life indomitably, risking big many times before knowing her true nature and the Mohiris, now has the opportunity to experience her gifts, to grow her potential and to better understand her limits . It’s a pity that her inexperience and a series of particular situations lead her to get into trouble and risk her life again but all the feats done remain well impressed and the rumor that there is a new very strong but kind warrior spreads quickly … and clearly the Master can’t wait to have her…

Karen Lynch’s Rogue is a novel without downtime that allows us to unite many pieces of the puzzle of Sara’s tangled life, from her mother’s mystery to that of the famous Master. To say that there are so many twists and turns in this novel is an understatement and I have to admit that everyone gets sweaty before being revealed and no, for those who have bet on this or that, the Master is certainly not who they thought nayyyyy.

I was happy and disappointed at the same time with the meeting between Sara and her mother. Disappointed because I expected more pathos but at the same time happy with her mother’s explanation, her acts, her choices, her gaps. I was able to give many answers to my excited heart, I also experienced with pleasure the surrender towards Nikolas who, despite him being placed far apart, finally begins to have a more important role.

At the same time I appreciated various characters that appeared in this chapter of the series and I am very intrigued by some of them that I hope to read in the next volumes!

Personally I really enjoyed Karen Lynch’s Rogue and I have to say that it was so smooth and enjoyable reading that the images were sharp in my head, just like in an action movie! Needless to say, I’ve already peeked at the other chapters of the series and I can’t wait to finally read Nikolas’ point of view on Sara’s life which, in short, attracts me so much!
