Many meetings are organized all over Brittany : the opportunity to meet your favorite authors and enjoy activities in honor of books and reading. This year, the theme of the Nights will be: fear. The living room in Dinan
More than 75 exhibitors will be present for this home show : the opportunity to meet local professionals and stock up on trendy ideas (verandas, terrace, awnings, stairs, garden, fireplace, central vacuum, swimming pool and kitchen, etc.). Last year, the show welcomed some 4,000 visitors!

The “Paint and read” fair in Lannion
“Painting and reading” is the theme of the first book and painting fair, organized by the association of the Red Dragon of Trégor-Goëlo. On the day, there will be 31 authors, poets, novelists and historians, as well as seven exhibiting painters. Seven publishing houses will also be represented. The day will begin at 10:30 a.m., with a conference led by Emmanuelle George from the Gwalarn bookstore, on her favorite novels dealing with painting. At 11:15 a.m., a round table will be organized on the theme “Writing on painting: mission impossible”, with the writers Marie-Hélène Prouteau and Bernard de La Peine and the painter Jacques Houdart. A cine-concert in Binic Étables-sur-Mer

The Circonova festival in Quimper
The twelfth edition of the Circonova contemporary circus festival takes place in Quimper until February 2. On Sunday 22 January, the show “L’homme canon”, by and with the circus artist Rémi Luchez, will be presented at 4 p.m. at the Athéna in Ergué-Gabéric (€10). At 5 p.m., at the Théâtre de Cornouaille, in Quimper, you can discover “Sarabande”, a meeting in a state of grace between classical music and circus arts (€8/26).

The “e car” mobility fair in Quimper

The youth book fair in Gourin
The 20th edition of the Children’s Book Fair of the country of King Morvan takes place at the village hall of Tronjoly in Gourin. It continues until January 22, before moving to Guémené-sur-Scorff (January 24 to Wednesday February 1). The opportunity, in particular, to meet his favorite authors. The festival “Let’s read! » in Theix-Noyalo
The Book Fair, bringing together the municipalities of Theix-Noyalo, La Trinité-Surzur and Sulniac, has become an unmissable event in the area for all these years. Polar cold in Questembert
In Questembert, the Froid Polar is back at the Iris cinema from January 22 to February 19 on the theme “The detective genre through literature and cinema” which is divided into six films and six categories. The cycle opens on Sunday at 5 p.m. with the film “The Law of Tehran” by Saeed Roustaee. At the end of the screening, a meeting with Bamchade Pourvali is planned. With a doctorate in cinema, he directs the site “Iran cine panorama” devoted to the history and current events of Iranian cinema. The film received the Critics’ Prize at Reims Polar in 2021.
